A friendly family in Canton is looking for a reliable and warm part-time nanny/household manager to help care for their two boys, ages 6 and 3. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, CPR/First Aid certified, and ideally up to date on COVID, flu, and Tdap vaccinations. A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required. The nanny will be responsible for school pickups and driving the children to and from activities. While at home, responsibilities include meal prep, children’s laundry, and running basic errands (such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, etc.), all while ensuring the children are safe and well-supervised. The boys enjoy independent play, which the family encourages when appropriate. Mom works from home at times in a separate space, and the nanny will have autonomy throughout the day. The family is looking for someone who is warm, dependable, organized, and a strong communicator. Candidates should be punctual, comfortable multi-tasking, and take initiative when needed. On-the-job driving is required so applicants must have a valid driver’s license, clean record, and reliable vehicle.Schedule: Monday - Friday 3PM-7PM (20 hours per week)Rate: $32–$36 per hour BOE (taxes withheld)Benefits: 2 weeks of paid vacation ; 1 week of paid sick time ; paid holidaysStart Date: June 1 (open to someone starting sooner)
