Head Coach - Community and Foundation ages
The Boston Bolts Soccer organization is looking for a Foundation Age and Community Coach to join our coaching team. The right candidate will have an interest in soccer, an enthusiastic personality for working with young players and ideally some team-coaching experience. Training will be provided, as will necessary lesson plans and equipment.
Responsibilities to include :
- delivering clinics and training sessions to players aged 4-10
- coordinating and organizing safe training environments
- reporting to the Foundation Lead Coach with all feedback
- identifying players to progress to our team programs
- working with our local town and community partners to provide player and coaching training
The ideal candidate should be :
- an organized and enthusiastic soccer coach who enjoys working with young players
- has patience and understanding with players new to soccer or with developing skills
- Has a passion for working with young children and making a positive impact on them
- actively enjoys the game of soccer
- Willing to learn and progress within the company
- Previous soccer playing or coaching at any level is preferred
Qualifications
- Strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with a focus on soccer.
- Experience working with community and junior soccer teams is a plus.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for players of all skill levels.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate young athletes.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
