This Center is home to a group of more than 20 faculty and Master’s statisticians with extensive involvement and long experience in the hospital’s program of pediatric research.
With oversight, the Biostatistician I/II masters level candidate will consult and collaborate with investigators on the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of research projects which may include laboratory, interventional and observational studies.

The Biostatistician I/II Will Be Responsible For
- Statistical programming for research projects
- Providing input on the study design and analysis plan for protocols
- Analysis of research data under supervision of a senior statistician
- Preparing organized and clear summaries of analysis results
- Writing statistical methods sections for reports and manuscripts
- Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology or a closely related quantitative field
- 1-5 years of experience in a research setting
- Proficiency in a statistical programming package such as SAS, R or Stata
- Strong skills in data analysis and the effective presentation of results
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
