Evaluates operational effectiveness through feedback and data analysis.
Provides monthly updates on projects, including progress, new initiatives, and feasibility analysis.
Presents results to Physicians at monthly meetings.
Contracts / Agreements
Collaborates with Executive Director to negotiate and monitor contracts with external physician practices and service providers.
Participates in contract review and negotiation with external vendors.
Budgets
Develops, plans, and monitors department and foundation budgets with Executive Director and BCH leadership.
Oversees expense management and implements cost containment strategies.
Team Management
Optimizes team performance through communication, training, feedback, and staff development.
Coaches managers to enhance productivity and long-term success.
Guides administrators in resource management to meet workload demands.
Relationships
Builds relationships with internal hospital partners to improve operations and business development.
Serves as a key contact for clinical departments and service organizations.
Coordinates operational issues with satellite practices for business development and improvement.
To qualify, you must have :
Bachelor's degree with a concentration on Business, Healthcare Admin, or related field. Master's degree preferred
7 years of related experience, including 5 years in an academic or healthcare setting and / or in an operational role which demonstrates an ability to identify the need for and manage the implementation of complex new and / or improved operational processes
Understands the interconnectedness of processes and systems across groups.
Knowledgeable in process improvement methodology; skilled at identifying, defining, and implementing operational improvements.
Strong understanding of clinical and research operations.
Experienced in managing and optimizing financial resources.
Highly organized, action-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Capable of defining and managing realistic goals, handling competing demands, negotiating, managing resources, motivating, influencing, and coaching teams, with strong change management skills.
Skilled in conflict resolution, collaboration, and remaining composed under pressure.
Proactive in identifying and pursuing opportunities.
Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong presentation skills for diverse audiences.
