Clinical Social Worker, MSW, LICSW - Early Childhood Development
The role involves providing clinical social work services in an outpatient early childhood mental health program. Responsibilities include psychosocial screening, group therapy, and contributing to program development while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
We are seeking a social worker with a range of clinical social work services as an integral team member on an outpatient early childhood mental health program.
This Social Worker will be responsible for:- Psychosocial screening and assessment
- Group and dyadic therapy
- Developmentally specific skills related to infant and early childhood mental health including assessment and treatment modalities
- Contributing to program development and quality improvement efforts
- Working in fast-paced, dynamic clinical health care environment
- Master's in social work and a state of MA LICSW licensure
- Experience in evidence-based clinical care preferred in medical environment. Experience in or knowledge about early childhood mental health highly valued.
- Strong communication skills to effectively support families and communicate with multidisciplinary team and community partners/resources.
- The ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic clinical health care environment essential
- Exceptional empathetic listening skills in working with families from diverse backgrounds (to understand patient concerns, fears, and needs)
- Cultural humility and ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations Strong self-awareness and clinically effective management of boundaries in therapeutic relationships with families
