What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development Assistant, Corporate Relations position at Boston Children's Hospital?
This Development Assistant, Corporate Relations will :
- Provide crucial administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of fundraising and development activities.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Help manage team calendars and schedule internal and external appointments and meetings with donors, doctors, volunteers, trustees, and hospital staff. Reserve and prepare conference rooms and manage logistics for donor visits.
- Develop proficiency in the donor database for the corporate team, ensuring accurate and timely input of information.
- Oversee the gift process, from initial booking through to acknowledgment and payment coordination, while collaborating closely with various teams across the Trust.
- Assist team with online proposal submissions and donor stewardship activities that may include; compiling reports, coordinating hospital visits / receptions, assisting with PR / Social Media coordination to acknowledge corporate gifts and involvement, among other activities.
- Attend departmental and donor meetings as needed.
- Assist supervisor with special projects and preparation of reports and documents as needed.
- Assist supervisor and team with special projects as needed.
