COLLEGE COACH Summer Internship: Employee Injury Prevention Intern

The opportunity
The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 9-Friday, August 8, 2025. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week.
Employee Injury Prevention Program - working on safety and quality improvement for staff as it relates to safety concerns and injury prevention
What you'll do

Data review and cleaning of Employee Injury events (Safety Event Reporting System SERS and Excel)

Data analysis for identifying trends and common causes

Special projects for creating education resources including: Sharps Safety, Safe Patient

Handling and Mobility, Workplace Violence, Ergonomics

This position is Hybrid, 1-2 days on-site

Internship opportunities: We aim to have all summer internship opportunities posted by February 28. They will be posted on a rolling basis as managers determine their availability to host an intern.

Onboarding: Those selected for the internship program will complete onboarding by May to ensure a smooth start to the program.
