- Maintaining complex call schedules and complying with strict duty hour regulations.
- Maintaining the educational quality of the program to ensure compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with Chief residents in regards to appropriate rotations and overall schedule content to maintain ACGME requirements.
- The data integrity of the scheduling program including but not limited to creating rules, adding/monitoring assignments and updating personnel, and creating working views.
- Maintaining parking passes and appropriate allocation of on call meal reimbursements per each resident's schedule.
- Creating, running and analyzing ad hoc reports as needed to maintain schedule function and accuracy.
- Monitoring the request of ATO's for residents prior to approval to make sure no violation of regulations will occur.
To qualify, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Experience implementing, monitoring, and managing complex plans and schedules
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), Knowledge of or ability to learn commercial scheduling software programs (Med-Hub; On-Call, Amion, Ecotime, Lightning Bolt)
- Experience implementing, monitoring, and managing complex plans and schedules
- Superior problem solving skills with experience using sound judgment responding to concerns
- Experience prioritizing effectively and meeting deadlines within specified time constraints in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, and thorough desire for continuous improvement
- Flexible and able to adapt to new situations quickly
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in stressful situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized, proactive multi-tasker and power scheduler to stay on top of schedules and projects
