Full Time Allergy Nurse

Seeking a Full Time Nurse for BCHP's Allergy Practice in Poughkeepsie, NY. Must be willing to travel for Westchester for training.
The purpose of this position is to provide full time nursing support services to the physicians in BCHP's Pediatric Pulmonology and Allergy Division. Pay rate will be $32/hr-$35/hr, negotiable depending on experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing allergy testing
- Pulmonary function testing
- Mixing and administering allergy injections
- Administering biologic injectable medications
- Monitoring for anaphylaxis
- Patient education
- Overseeing oral food and medication challenges
- Documenting care in our EMR system
- Obtaining authorizations.
- Applicant should be comfortable working with all ages from infant to adult.
Requirements include:
- Previous nursing experience preffered
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Competent working with computers
- Excellent verbal communication
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must possesses excellent time management skills including
- Organization,
- Multitasking
- Prioritization
