We investigate how the nervous system senses the external world. Our research combines approaches from neuroscience and biophysics, and studies steps from molecular mechanisms to behavior. We seek a Research Assistant who will participate actively in the laboratory's scientific thinking and research, in addition to aiding with routine tasks. We anticipate that this experience will provide excellent preparation for advanced study in the biological sciences. Laboratory members will provide all needed training. A minimum 2-year time commitment is preferred.
This Research Assistant will be responsible for :
Maintaining records of results and methodologies in a log of work performed.
In order to qualify, you must have :
3.5, with a focus in Neuroscience, Biology, General Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, and Computer Science.
