Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring exceptional customer service and a high-quality experience for all patrons. You will work closely with the management team to lead staff, maintain food safety standards, and enhance our catering services. Your passion for coffee and leadership skills will be key in fostering a positive work environment and driving the success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a positive team atmosphere.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and ensuring stock levels meet demand.
• Implement food safety practices in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining experience.
• Train new employees on coffee preparation techniques, customer service standards, and use of Aloha POS system.
• Collaborate with the management team on catering events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Monitor financial performance and assist in achieving sales targets through effective promotions and service enhancements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and fine dining standards is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale technology is an advantage.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Previous experience in catering services is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
