Job Description
Boston College Athletics is seeking a Football Creative Content video and graphic designer charged with creating dynamic digital content for the Boston College Football program. Reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Creative Services, this position is responsible for the planning, coordination, shooting, editing, and impact analysis of original content for BC football for various social media platforms and team support. This position will be responsible for the entire video production process, including creative strategy, storyboarding, capturing and editing for promoting the program, as well as in support of recruitment of prospects. In addition, the position produces graphic design support for use with external marketing of the program as well as for team support needs.
Role will provide content for Boston College’s athletics website and BC social media channels, BC coaches and program with all required highlights, graphic design, and photography support, and BC media with requested approved programming and content.
Key Areas of Responsibility include:
Video Content Creation: Film and edit video content for various platforms, including highlights, player interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, promotional videos, and fan engagement content.
Game Day Video and Photography: Capture live-action video and photos during home games, including in-game shots, fan engagement, and special events. Assist with pre-game and post-game photography for social media and marketing use.
Event Coverage: Document team-related events, such as community outreach programs, press conferences, and fan meet-and-greet sessions, capturing both photo and video content.
Post-Production Editing: Edit photos and videos for use on social media, the team website, and other marketing materials. Ensure timely delivery of content for specific campaigns, gameday promotions, and other events.
Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, social media, and football teams to develop visually engaging content that aligns with the team’s branding and promotional goals.
Fan Engagement: Help capture candid moments of fan interactions, creating content for digital campaigns that enhance fan experience and engagement.
Player Profiles & Features: Create video and photo features that highlight players’ personalities, game day routines, and off-the-field activities for marketing purposes.
B-Roll & Archival Footage: Capture and maintain a library of B-roll footage and high-quality photos that can be used for future video projects, marketing materials, and sponsorship activations.
Equipment Management: Assist with setting up, maintaining, and organizing photography and video equipment on game days and at events.
Ability to handle multiple projects at a time with tight deadlines.
Development Hiring range is $63,800-$79,750 for 5 plus years of experience
Development Hiring Range is $58,000-$72,000 for 1-5 years of experience

Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree in video production, journalism, public relations, communications, sports management or related field. Experience in EFP/remote sports production, including equipment setup.
Experience must include non-linear computing video editing via Premiere Pro, video lighting and composition, camera operations, graphic design including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. Must be well-versed for video editing on the MAC platform. Must have experience with motion graphics compositing.
