- Minimum of three to five year's recent full-time experience as an HVAC Mechanic working for a
- Massachusetts Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic
- High school diploma
- EPA Universal Recovery License
- Proficient knowledge and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC and Refrigeration
- Must be able to read and understand plans, blueprints, and schematics related to HVAC and
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Ability to work from written or verbal instructions
- Skills in the use of equipment and tools used in the trade
- Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license
- Must be able to communicate orally, read, comprehend, write, reason and analyze and perform
- Must be able to bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, walk, climb, push / pull, kneel, handle objects
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
- The employee will be subject to the following Environmental Conditions on the job :
- Sheet Metal License
- Oil Burner Mechanic's license
- Experience with and an understanding of Direct Digital Controls (DDC), preferably Johnson

Under the direct supervision of the Shop Supervisor, or other designated personnel, perform skilled work
in the maintenance, repair, and installation of refrigeration, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning
systems, and their controls.
Perform maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance using a computerized maintenance work order
system. Provide written(electronic) records of work completed on a daily basis. Communicate with
Supervisors personally or through electronic forms of communication (email, phone use etc.)
