As a member of the North America (NAMR) People Analytics (NPA) team, you’ll be at the heart of NAMR’s People Team efforts, acting as a translator and enabler for our clients (Senior Leadership and teams under the NAMR CHRO). You will be responsible for supporting the success and adoption of transformational analytics solutions and delivering high quality quantitative reporting, utilizing tools like Python and Tableau to help transform and automate People Team reporting and processes.
Your work will directly impact BCG’s high visibility People initiatives, advancing key business priorities for NAMR. Within this role you will manage a variety of workstreams requiring the ability to juggle competing priorities, while managing stakeholder expectations. Successful candidates will be able to work independently and serve as subject matter experts to NAMR Senior Leadership. You will jump in across a wide variety of projects or efforts – sometimes as a designer, and often as the “doer” to get efforts underway, pilot or prove a concept, or run a PMO.

You’ll work on the Business Analytics & Enablement Cadre within the NPA Team, which also includes a Data Science/Engineering Cadre. Cadres will combine deep industry expertise with innovative skillsets in consulting, business analytics, computer science, artificial intelligence, statistics, and machine learning. We will drive transformational impact to the NAMR People Team by framing business challenges, building a single source of truth, distilling the highest impact analytics opportunities, designing innovative analyses and algorithms, training colleagues on new solutions, and delivering impact by ensuring our work is valuable, user-oriented, equitable, scalable, and maintainable.
You’ll also work closely with broader functions within NAMR (e.g. Finance), and analytics colleagues in other regions. You will have significant exposure to and help drive impact on behalf of the North America Leadership Team (NALT) and the CHRO.

Your Responsibilities Include
- Meeting regularly with People Team members to understand their business priorities and needs, translate them into actionable analytics questions, and frame hypotheses to guide analysis.
- Conducting timely and accurate cadenced reporting and ad-hoc quantitative and qualitative analyses for Senior Leadership. Driving process improvement, optimization, and automation in close partnership with functional leaders to enhance systems and capabilities including a diverse toolkit (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric Platform, Excel)
- Provide technical expertise to simplify and streamline processes, enabling stakeholders to eliminate manual work and focus on higher value projects
- Owning large-scale analytics product development, including needs & hypothesis refinement, Agile product development, communication, change management, and implementation
- Developing compelling data visualizations for stakeholders and Senior Leaders, ranging from slide writing to dynamic Tableau dashboards

- You excel at problem solving, equally comfortable with back-of-the-envelope estimates and detailed analysis. Ingenuity and creativity are key for success in this role.
- You’re highly organized with the ability to scope and plan project timelines, identifying milestones, blockers, and key stakeholders. You’re adept at using digital tools (Jira, GitHub, Confluence) to plan and document your work.
- You can juggle multiple competing priorities, including prioritizing your own work activities and seeking input where required.
- You take ownership of ensuring key processes, decisions, and learnings are well-documented to support knowledge transfer, team enablement, and ongoing delivery.

- A Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of progressive experience in an analytical role
- Fluency in all aspects of data management, including data collection, aggregation, manipulation, analysis, visualization, and documentation.
- Experience working across various systems and data sources (including Workday, Snowflake, SAP, etc.)
- Working proficiency in analytics tools, including Python, SQl, Tableau, and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake);, and ideally have some form of experience with Microsoft Analytics (e.g., Fabric, Power Query, PowerBI, Excel)
- Demonstrated project management skills such as the ability to independently manage capacity, handle multiple workflows at the same time, and communicate progress to team leaders and stakeholders.
- Ability to succinctly explain complicated data processes and analysis to both stakeholders and Senior Leaders
- A client focused mentality and demonstrated cross functional teaming.
- Commitment to privacy requirements and concerns around people data, and dedication to documentation best practices

- In New York City the base salary is between $124,000 - $151,300 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
- In San Diego the base salary is between $120,000 - $146,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
- In other locations, competitive pay is commensurate with the role and geography
- Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-16%
- 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
- Zero dollar ($0) health insurance premiums for BCG employees, spouses, and children
