What You'll Do

As a Manager within BCG's Tech & Digital Advantage Practice Area, you will work together with project and proposal teams to help BCG clients on conducting Tech transformations to build world-class Technology functions. This also includes, for example, defining the IT or Tech strategy, determining the collaboration and operating model for business, digital and technology, modeling the future IT/digital workforce/talent set-up, driving efficiency within the Tech function, or assessing the client’s tech performance across multiple dimensions.

Additionally, as a Manager you will drive development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support the World Class Technology Function topic, serving as an active contributor to commercialization efforts, whilst working with business leaders to drive proposals & go-to-market efforts. You will contribute on cases and proposals by contributing relevant analysis and insights and help case teams create strong impact for BCG's clients. As an Manager, you may line manage a team of junior colleagues, taking responsibility for their goal setting, ongoing feedback and career development support.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

• Solving complex client problems through relevant analytical approaches and customized solutions based on your expertise on Technology Transformation & Strategy topics
• Driving development and maintenance of knowledge assets e.g. tools, materials, based on different client contexts
• Communicating with case teams, client team members and senior stakeholders, in a credible and confident way demonstrating the ability to engage your audience effectively
• Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
• Managing a portfolio of projects, with strong awareness of business priorities and commercial impact
• Training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members
• Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment
  
  

What You'll Bring

• 3 years consulting experience in relevant IT/Technology management and/or strategy required; candidates with consulting experience preferred
• In lieu of consulting experience, 4 years minimum industry experience required; 6-10 years of industry experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
• Fluency in English
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.

We expect total annualized compensation for New York City-based employees to be approximately the following:

• Base salary between $136,600- $142,500 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
• Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-20%
• 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
