Who We Are
This Finance Analyst position will support best practices to assess and effectively report on business performance in the North America region within regional Industry and Functional Practice Areas, Systems, and large client accounts.
Insights gathered will focus on key commercial drivers to BCG’s business : pipeline, wins, backlog and revenue performance. All of which directly impact strategic decision-making and business planning across the organization : providing clarity on market risks / opportunities, business momentum insights, and defining how to measure / track business success.
Over the past several years, the finance organization has been on a journey to evolve and further transform processes to support a high-growth business. In addition to commercial performance reporting, this role will support our efforts to further harmonize processes and bring together best-in-class, next generation commercial reporting. This position will frequently partner with many stakeholders across the business, including different finance teams, executive leaders, the Regional Chair (who heads BCG’s North America business) and the North America CFO.
What You'll Do
- Creating reporting consistency across key commercial topics (primarily revenue, pipeline, wins, etc.)
- Providing progress updates and reporting on Key Performance indicators to executive leadership
Rebuild and maintain reporting for the post-SAP business (North America Dashboard), ensuring effective regional reporting continues as the Finance organization transforms
Driving adoption of, and leveraging data from ClientView : partnering with global on system enhancements to improve platform value / data reliability and align / inform best practices for Pipeline, Wins, and commercial reporting methodologies
Support ad-hoc analysis of competitive landscape through win / loss information
Develop and track metrics to support business success for North America Practice Areas, identify growth targets, and monitor progress toward completion

This role will work closely with global FP&A / regional counterparts to align and inform best practices for Pipeline, Wins, Competitive Intelligence, and Practice Area reporting methodologies and the North America regional Commercial Finance team to incorporate real-time business updates in analyses.
Insights gathered will be shared with North America Senior leadership (Regional Chair, CFO, Regional Practice Area Leadership) while partnering with NAMR Commercial Finance team leaders, and SMEs of other topics areas such as Revenue, Client / Investment Analytics, & Value Based Pricing finance teams.
