Job Details: Full Time Available
- Shift & Schedule For Full Time: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours (with the possibility of weekends during busy season or sales). 5 days a week for Full Time: Monday - Saturday. Two weeks per month will require work on Saturday. Part Time: 2 to 3 days a week.
Benefits: Full Time Position:
- 1 Week Paid Vacation: Must be with company for 1 year.
- Paid Remote Days: We close the store several days throughout the year (potentially: totaling 2 weeks per year) for conventions/business. You will be paid in full for the days we decide to close and you are scheduled to work.

We are seeking a Social Media Content Creator and Marketer to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily content strategy and responsible for pivoting in the moment based on trends and performance, with openness to being agile and nimble across all social platforms. This is the perfect role for someone who is confident enough to craft the emerging platform vision for a brand while at the same time is able to follow a real-time evolving founder led vision on Instagram.
Strategic thinker who understands how great storytelling meets and thrive in fast-moving, creative environments and is confident in experimenting, pivoting, and push boundaries while keeping the Boston Diamond Company brand at the forefront.
- 3 years of experience running social media for brands, organizations, or yourself—with proven results.
- A strong creative portfolio demonstrating your storytelling with video, graphics, and copywriting.
- Experience working with influencers, creators, and digital brand partnerships.
- Proficiency in video editing, graphic design, and multimedia production tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, Dash Hudson or equivalents).

Responsibilities
- Manage the social media calendar across all platforms, setting targets and timelines for key brand initiatives and content creation shot lists and production. Responsible for pivoting in the moment based off trends and performance. Will be managing execution on Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms.
- Establish the over-all analytic framework for social media measurement across all platforms and campaigns
- Responsible for gathering, structuring and analyzing social media data from owned social platforms, tools social media policy changes (e.g algorithmic updates), and external developments (new community management opportunities within Platforms) to derive compelling, real-time insights that drives the optimization of social media campaigns, and informs the achievement of goals (e.g. audience growth, engagement, viewership, campaign/content effectiveness, share of voice)
- With an emphasis on IG Stories, conduct in-depth evaluation and analysis of current and previous social franchises & programs to derive actionable insights, give context, and recommendations for future initiatives to CEO.
- Ownership of creative content briefs and creative assets needed for top-engaging branded social campaigns.
- Develop roadmap for Boston Diamond Company's social media channel diversification strategy to reduce concentration risk and stay at the forefront of innovation in the social space
- In partnership with Brand Marketing , execute a multi-platform strategy that grows Boston Diamond Company's brand affinity, engagement, reach, and audience in order to drive IG & TikTok growth and engagement
- Understand the social media universe, as it relates to DTC brands, and stay current with trends, language, outlets, and resources to achieve the best performance across all Boston Diamond Company social platforms. Ability to ideate and launch a strategy on new and emerging platforms for the brand
- Collaborate and work closely with Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing, Data Analytics, and the Founder & CEO by providing platform, audience and community insights that will help support omni-channel initiatives, including but not limited to: communications strategy, go-to-market planning, content creation planning and brand events and influencer activations.
- Partners closely with Customer Service team to optimize and develop best-in-class social engagement and care program
About You
- Previous experience working at a Founder Led or Personality Led company, or a start up environment
- PR Experience is a plus
- Worked at a brand where selling through the IG platform was native and prioritized
- Experience building and executing social marketing campaigns and calendars
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams in positive, collaborative working relationships
- Ability to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously without sacrificing productivity or quality, with impeccable organization skills and attention to detail
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of direct, hands-on experience in social media and community management across all major social media platforms (e.g. Meta, Youtube, Snap, Tiktok, etc. )
- Minimum 1 years functional experience in analytics and social listening
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with social media measurement
- Previous experience in setting up measurement dashboards and frameworks
- Experience in Excel, Google Drive, GA, Dash Hudson
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations and insights
- Comprehensive understanding of the relationship between e-commerce product data feeds and brand media campaigns, and its downstream impact to business performance.
- Prior experience with Instagram and TikTok platform management and content creation strategy along with a strong understanding of the changing trends within the space
