What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planning Manager position at Boston Dynamics?
Boston Dynamics is seeking an experienced Production Planning Manager to join our Operations team to aid in the manufacturing of the world's most advanced robots. This role will be critical in developing and implementing the company's production planning functions within our ERP system, and is a key stakeholder in supporting the implementation and application of MRP in production ensuring seamless automated flow of both production and R&D materials from inventory and shop floor to customer. Communication and the ability to work cross functionally will be critical attributes in this role.

Primary Responsibility :
- Develop and implement the company's production planning and Master Production Schedule (MPS) functions including any of the following activities : Production planning, capacity planning, coordinate with inventory control, resource allocation, coordinate with demand forecasting, performance monitoring, and collaboration with other departments.
- Support the implementation and upgrades of manufacturing ERP, in particular material requirements planning (MRP), and serve as the key user in Production providing guidance to other users in the department and serve as the key manufacturing ERP contact from Production for IT.
