Boston Engineering Corporation, an innovative product development engineering company, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer who is fluent in all aspects of the new product development process, with the ability to work with small teams, and be the mechanical engineering technical lead. If having a wide breadth of experience in a variety of mechanical engineering areas and a proven track record for new product development from requirements to successful introduction to manufacturing is in your tool belt, we want to talk with you.

In this role, you will :
- Develop mechanical designs of electro-mechanical products for low, mid, and high-volume production
- Work in small multi-disciplinary teams on fast-paced projects
- Develop designs for manufacturing and assembly processes appropriate for the product volumes
- Design, build, and test breadboards, proof of principle units, and prototypes as part of the new product development process.
- Develop specifications, perform analyses, and prepare related design documentation
- Understand & practice job role in our quality management system as trained
Location : Office-based role in Waltham, MA.
Reports to : Mechanical Engineering Department Manger
