Boston Event Guide is seeking a business development executive to spearhead the development of partnerships for our business. The person who fills this role must have proven experience with outbound sales and a high comfort level with reaching out to prospects. You should have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets and a passion for selling!
We are looking for self-motivated individuals to sell fun initiatives (Wine Festivals, Bridal Expos, Summer Cruises, New Years Eve events & corporate event planning). We are looking to drive event sponsorships, vendor booth sales, group sales, and corporate partnerships.
We are growing quickly and are looking for a determined leader to join our team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and would be interested in working on huge events and driving business with Boston’s biggest companies, this role is for you.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build new sponsorship, vendors, and groups sales for current events
- Drive new corporate event planning and marketing sales
- Research and do outreach to new event sponsors
- Outreach to build new relationships with local businesses
- Close new business to achieve goals
- Develop new ways to expand our partnership lists
