Responsibilities :
The Y12 National Security Complex, simply known as Y12, has three primary national security missions that protect our country and our allies around the world. Maintaining the US nuclear weapons stockpile, reducing global threats, and fueling the US Navy’s nuclear propulsion program are the key activities at this historic site.

As a Smartplant Analyst, you’ll act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the implementation and administration of these applications. The primary Hexagon tools currently being used are Smart 3D, Smart P&ID, Smart Sketch, Smart Review and Smart Reference Data. The use of Smart Instrumentation, Smart Electrical, and SmartPlant Foundation are being planned for future implementations. You will interface with other professionals from Y12 organizations including departments within Mission Engineering, IS&S, and others. Your interfaces with IS&S will help to maintain, streamline, and standardize requirements for software and hardware solutions ultimately strengthening the IT infrastructure for Mission Engineering.
Responsibilities also include :
- Assisting in the maintenance of application servers and databases.
- Configuring reference data based on specifications.
- Developing workflow instructions.
- Integrating these applications to work together to correlate and exchange data based on defined discipline roles and rules.
- Integrating these applications with operation and facility management automation toolsets for data visualization and reporting to support configuration management and maintenance of operations.
Qualifications :
o …OR a Master’s degree with a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience.
o …OR 10 or more years of relevant education, training, and / or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements.
