What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer / Project Executive position at Boston Group Executive Offices?
The Project Engineer performs essential project management tasks working in conjunction with the Project Manager to support the overall direction and completion of a project.General Responsibilities including but not limited to : Maximize project efficiency and profitability.Perform duties during preconstruction as directed by Senior Management, Project Executive and / or Project Manager.Assist and develop working relationships with team, owner, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate successful completion of projects during construction phase.Take lead in the submittal / procurement process and be the submittal coordinator / manager. Receive, log and process all project submittals, in accordance with the company SOP.Take the lead in the RFI process and be the RFI coordinator / manager. Receive, log and process all project submittals, in accordance with the company SOP.Coordinate all Document controls and drawing markups, in accordance with the company SOP.Implement and oversee the field staffs tracking of daily manpower provided by the Superintendent for all trades on site. Coordinate Procore reporting with Certified Payrolls and Maintain logs daily / weekly. Provide trades proper notice of deficiencies with required workforce percentage goals.Assist and coordinate with project closeout.Other duties as assigned.
