Location Description :
The Boston Harbor Hotel is Bostons premier waterfront hotel, where luxury service is personal. Overview : JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for ensuring a well operating purchasing department, supplying product to hotel as needed. While maintaining storage areas in a clean, organized, safe manner and maintaining the security of property assets at all times.
Experience :
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities for the Storeroom Attendant include but are not limited to :
- Fill food requisitions for the Kitchen, Restaurant, Room Service, Banquets, Cafeteria, Bar, etc.
- Cost out food requisitions while filling.
- Inventory of dry foods.
- Assist with month end inventory.
- Receive dry goods products.
- Cost out dry food items and reshelf.
- Help with food receiving when necessary.
- Periodically responsible for ordering items such as bread.
- Maintain cleanliness of food storerooms.
- Fill general storeroom requisitions.
- Store paper supplies in storeroom.
- Performance of food rotation and can goods inventory.
