Job Summary
This position involves working overnight hours, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students. You will be responsible for monitoring their activities, preparing them for breakfast, and facilitating a smooth transition to the day program.
Main Responsibilities
- Student Monitoring: Conduct regular checks on students every 15 minutes to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Pre-Breakfast Preparation: Assist students with personal needs, teaching daily living and social skills in accordance with Daily Life Therapy principles.
- Safe Environment: Create and maintain a safe environment for students, adhering to all necessary protocols and procedures.
- Rapport Building: Develop positive relationships with students within a group setting, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Documentation: Accurately document students' nighttime performance, providing valuable insights for staff and management.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with directors and other staff regarding student issues, ensuring seamless collaboration and information sharing.
- Teamwork: Maintain ongoing communication with residential program staff and day program staff, fostering a culture of cooperation and mutual respect.
- Role Modeling: Serve as a positive role model for students, demonstrating excellent behavior and work ethics.
- Participation: Participate in various student activities, including physical exercise and other engaging programs, to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
- Log Maintenance: Update student logs as necessary, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Professionalism: Strive to maintain an open and positive atmosphere within the organization, respecting administration decisions and following guidance from supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
