Continuing Adult Educational Program (CAEP) Vocational Job Coach Supervisor
JOB GOAL
To oversee a team of vocational job coaches to provide guidance in identifying, developing, and maintaining on-campus and community vocational sites. To be responsible for supervising and implementing positive behavioral development and management skills following the methodology and guidelines / framework of Daily Life Therapy®. Provide vocational guidance to adult program participants and vocational job coaches, develop and maintain quality professional relationships with vocational site employees. Provide guidance to vocational job coaches and help create meaningful daily and weekly routines / schedules tailored to program participants and their individual needs.

Full-time : Monday through Friday
Hours : 8am - 4pm
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with training new job coaches following the methodology and guidelines / framework of Daily Life Therapy®.
- Assist with assigning program participants to appropriate vocational coaches based on individual needs and goals.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of job coaches, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Complete annual vocational job coach evaluation in a timely manner
- Contribute to regular team meetings to discuss caseloads, challenges, and best practices.
- Assist with intakes of potential new program participants.
- Assist in developing and implementing Individual Support Plan (ISP) goals and objectives for vocational skill education, integrating social and community goals within job sites.
- Identify appropriate prerequisite skills for vocational placements in collaboration with staff.
- Work with the Program Manager and network with vocational sites to identify suitable work sites for program participants.
- Contribute to annual ISP assessments based on daily observations and interactions, focusing on vocational opportunities and social skills.
- Monitor vocational training and job site activities through regular site visits.
- Collaborate with vocational sites to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Report any issues or concerns to the Program Manager, CAEP Committee Members or Administration in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with Employment Specialists to develop successful teaching strategies, curriculum, and program improvements in accordance with the Curriculum Frameworks and Daily Life Therapy®.
- Attend and contribute to yearly ISP meetings with DDS case workers.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Program Manager, CAEP committee, and Human Rights committee.
- Comply with additional requirements for certain off-campus work sites, including :
- Drug screening tests and medical requirements (e.g., for hospital placements)
- Additional CORI or background checks
- Maintain open communication with program managers, group home directors, and case managers regarding participants.
- Communicate effectively with the Program Manager regarding attendance, time off requests, and other relevant matters.
- Complete all required staff training and maintain compliance with CPR and First Aid certification requirements.
- Demonstrate passion for helping others enhance their lives and promote independence with respect, dignity, and quality.
- Maintain good communication with the leadership team on progress and needs of individuals served
- Complete required participant documentation in a timely manner
- Any additional duties deemed necessary by the CAEP Program Manager or the CAEP Administrators.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking qualified candidates to supervise vocational job coaches that assist adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder in learning / maintaining vocational and daily living skills
