Our client is a small members only, patient-focused boutique medical office looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have entry-level experience as a Medical Assistant with a background in phlebotomy. In this role, you will assist with patient intake, take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and perform basic administrative duties, while also performing blood draws as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Phlebotomy experience is key
- Assist with patient intake, including taking vitals and updating medical histories
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Manage patient records and update charts accurately
- Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries
- Support medical staff in various clinical and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or similar certification preferred
- Phlebotomy certification required or experience with blood draws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
