What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at Boston IVF?

Boston IVF has a fulltime Data Analyst II position at our Waltham Facility. The Data Analyst II will report directly to the Director of Data Operations.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
As a Data Analyst II, you will:
- Work across all company applications to maintain and enhance data integrity for both current and historical data
- Manage and provide explanations for key metrics and figures displayed in existing Excel reports
- Respond to report requests from various departments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data
- Collaborate with the Director of Data Operations on database programming and scripting
- Develop and implement new tools to automate workflows and improve efficiency across the company
Requirements (including but not limited to):
· 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft Excel (required, non-negotiable)
o Strong proficiency with PivotTables and PivotCharts (required, non-negotiable)
o Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP(), INDIRECT(), IFERROR(), etc.) (required, non-negotiable)
o Familiarity with macros/VBA (preferred but not required)
· Strong computer skills—must be tech-savvy with excellent keyboarding skills
· Proficiency in SQL/query languages and understanding of database relationships
· Experience creating detailed reports and explaining key metrics when needed
· Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills—ability to work well in a team
Additional knowledge/skills preferred but not required
· Knowledge/experience in the medical field
· Experience with Filemaker
