Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with our physicians and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, diagnosing health issues, developing treatment plans, and promoting overall wellness. Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough health assessments, obtain medical histories, and perform physical exams to diagnose health conditions.
- Treatment Planning and Management: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments as appropriate.
- Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients on preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle choices. Provide counseling to patients and families.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Licensure: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Florida.
- Certification: National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
