Department of Public Works Mechanic The Town of Groton, Department of Public Works is looking for qualified candidates for a 40 DPW Mechanic position. Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining a fleet of Town trucks, numerous pieces of heavy equipment and small machines. Candidate must be self- directed, organized and a problem solver. Requires a Class A CDL license and Hydraulic License. Pre-employment physical, drug / alcohol screening pre-hire, driver history checked upon hire.
