Volunteer Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Volunteer Candidate Interviewers. This role is crucial in helping us engage passionate and committed volunteers to support our mission at BMC of ‘exceptional care, without exception.’ As a Volunteer Candidate Interviewer, you will be responsible for conducting interviews with potential volunteers, assessing their suitability for various roles, and ensuring that they align with the organization’s values and objectives.
This is a remote position, with the option of coming to the Volunteer Services office at BMC. The volunteer position reports to the Volunteer Services Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct remote interviews with prospective volunteers via phone or video conferencing.
- Assess candidates' skills, experience, and enthusiasm for volunteering with the Boston Medical Center.
- Provide a welcoming and engaging interview experience.
- Provide the candidate with information about the application process and requirements.
- Record and report interview outcomes to the Volunteer Services Team through the volunteer management system (Vsys).
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline the volunteer recruitment process.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout the interview process.
