We're looking for a social expert across all our channels. As Associate Manager of Community Marketing, you'll lead our brand's social presence, influencer collaborations, PR strategy, and community engagement. You'll create share-worthy content, build genuine influencer relationships, and shape how the world sees and talks about Boston Proper. From scroll to spotlight, you'll drive buzz that feels personal and powerful.
This position reports to the Director of Integrated Marketing and works closely with the broader marketing team to execute cohesive and effective strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve Boston Proper's organic social media strategy across platforms including Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube-ensuring every post reflects the brand's voice, energy, and commitment to style at every age
- Lead day-to-day content creation, planning, and scheduling, partnering with creative, brand, and merchandising teams to produce scroll-stopping visuals and copy that engage, inspire, and convert
- Grow and manage influencer and brand ambassador partnerships, including sourcing talent, managing outreach and contracts, briefing on campaigns, and ensuring content delivery aligns with brand standards and KPIs
- Champion UGC and community-driven storytelling, finding smart, creative ways to turn customers and fans into advocates across all touchpoints
- Monitor and manage Boston Proper's online presence, including social listening, real-time community engagement, and brand reputation across public platforms and DMs
- Oversee PR strategy and earned media opportunities, managing calendars, coordinating with agency partners, and pitching editorial placements and brand features that elevate visibility
- Collaborate cross-functionally on key campaigns, ensuring social and influencer strategies amplify seasonal messages, product drops, and collection launches
- Leverage performance data and platform insights to track and report content effectiveness, manage partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and refine the strategy across channels
- Support and grow the affiliate marketing program by identifying opportunities, manage affiliate relationships, and drive brand-aligned exposure and conversion through this channel
- Stay ahead of emerging trends, platform updates, and creator culture, adapting content formats and brand presence to keep Boston Proper relevant, elevated, and engaging
Experience/Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, PR, or community management-ideally within the fashion, beauty, or lifestyle space
- A creative eye for content and strong understanding of visual storytelling, brand aesthetics, and what resonates across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Proven hands-on experience managing influencer and ambassador programs-from discovery and outreach to contracting, content coordination, and performance tracking
- Experience working with PR agencies or media contacts, and a keen sense of how to secure earned media placements that align with brand values and business goals
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, manage vendor and creator relationships, and serve as a clear, confident voice for the brand
- A constant pulse on what's trending in culture, style, and social, with the strategic know-how to adapt trends for Boston Proper's confident, fashion-forward audience
- Understanding of how to speak to an elevated 40 customer; someone who's stylish, savvy, and looking for fashion that reflects her confidence and individuality
- A track record of growing brand engagement, increasing followers, and building meaningful community connections across multiple platforms
- Familiarity with social analytics tools and a performance mindset-you know how to read the data, learn from it, and use it to guide your content strategy
