We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to take on the role of Inbox Management Lead for our Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role will manage the dedicated ESY email inbox, acting as the primary point of contact for families regarding site changes, IEP inquiries, transportation updates, and other program-related concerns.

To qualify for this role, candidates must demonstrate strong experience in customer service and communication within an educational setting, as well as proficiency in managing multiple inquiries efficiently and professionally.

Program Description

The Extended School Year (ESY) program provides essential services to students with disabilities, guided by the recommendations of their IEP Teams. As the primary communication channel, the ESY inbox serves as a critical resource for families and staff, requiring consistent and timely responses to ensure seamless program operation and parental support.

Responsibilities:

  • Inbox Management
  • Monitor and respond to emails in the ESY inbox promptly and professionally, addressing questions, site changes, and general inquiries from families and staff before and during the ESY Program.
  • IEP and Program Inquiry Coordination
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for questions related to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and student-specific program details.
  • Collaboration with Data Management
  • Work closely with the Data Management Lead to process updates regarding transportation changes, rosters, and other student data, ensuring consistency across program records.
  • Direct Family Support
  • Act as a supportive liaison for families, providing clear and compassionate communication to address program-related questions and updates.
  • Additional Support as Needed
  • Remain accessible for any additional inquiries that may arise throughout the program, offering assistance and ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly.

Compensation:

The Inbox Management Lead will receive a stipend of $2,500 for the duration of the ESY program, covering hours outside of the standard workday to manage ongoing communication needs.

Qualifications - Required:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in email management, preferably in educational or school-based environments
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and ESY programs is a plus
  • Proven ability to respond to inquiries accurately and efficiently, prioritizing confidentiality and professionalism
