Stipend Opportunity: Behavioral Health Services BSBBHC Strategic Planning Coordinator (SY24-25)

REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services Department or their designee

STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW: The Behavioral Health Services Department (BHS) seeks to develop and implement the strategic plans of the Boston School-Based Behavioral Health Collaborative (BSBBHC).

This opportunity will occur primarily from January 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025, and is expected to take up to 175 hours as needed. This position is required as part of a DESE grant that BPS has received.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This person will be responsible for:

• Scheduling: schedule and create an agenda for all BSBBHC strategic planning task force meetings
• Strategic planning: Lead the development and implementation of a 5-year strategic plan for BSBBHC and seek feedback from broader membership and the taskforce, seek information and develop a plan for the BSBBHC to become a 501(c)(3) entity.
• Data: Gather, maintain, and organize all data and information needed to complete the goals of the BSBBHC strategic plan and 501(c)(3) development.
• Communications: Maintaining meeting notes, sharing information between the taskforce and the BSBBHC membership, and communicating with stakeholders involved in the establishment of the BSBBHC as a 501(c)(3).
• Collaboration: Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative solutions to challenges. Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment within the taskforce.
  
  

The stipend will be paid $9,941.75 and once the responsibilities are completed.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED:

• Currently working in Boston Public Schools;
• Appropriate school psychologist licensure.
