Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations and in collaboration with different OSS units the Purchasing and Stipend Specialist will:
- Issue purchasing requisitions using the BPS Financial Purchasing System and seeing them through to full purchase orders.
- Document deliveries of supplies, receive purchase orders and process invoices.
- Initiate stipend approvals in the BPS HRM Stipend System and see them through to approval.
- Process stipend payments through the BPS HRM Stipend System and see them through to payment.
- Communicate immediately with supervisor and OSS unit if there are problems or processing delays with requisitions, purchase orders, deliveries, invoices, stipends or stipend payments.
Qualifications:
- Understanding and experience working with BPS Financial Purchasing System (able to process purchasing requisitions)
- Preferred: Experience working in HRM Stipend System
Terms:
- Union status will determine payment terms
- Ability to work 4-8 hours per week
- Remote work is available for this position
- All work for this position must be completed outside the employee’s regular work hours.
