What are the responsibilities and job description for the MLB Latin Specialist Chef position at Boston Red Sox?
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Boston Red Sox are seeking a highly motivated culinary professional to serve as a member of the MLB Performance Staff in providing optimal culinary nutrition within the Player’s Clubhouse at Fenway Park. The Latin Specialist Chef will work under the direction of the Executive Chef/Dietitian and collaborate with him alongside other Performance staff to deliver high-quality traditional Latin American cuisine for our players, particularly for our players from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Aruba, and Venezuela.
The Boston Red Sox Culinary Staff aims to provide fresh, local, sustainable, and nutrient-dense meals tailored to our players and staff. Input, planning, culinary creativity, and expert execution from the Culinary Nutrition team will be utilized regularly to determine team menus to maximize readiness, performance, recovery and injury prevention.
