About the role:

The Patient Education Manager will manage a team within the Patient Education business focused on identifying, educating, nurturing, and transitioning patients to the field through an omni-channel approach. You will coach and develop staff for future advancement, monitor key performance indicators, and make recommendations for improvements in the future. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coach and develop team within Patient Education (Inside Sales).
  • Drive execution of immediate and mid-term goals by team, provide input into future incentive plans, and monitor performance metrics to assure effective processes.
  • Implement training plan developed by Sales Training to develop training programs for new initiatives, products, and Inside Sales functions. Develop staff for possible promotions into field sales.
  • Interpret and execute operating procedures and policies that affect subordinates.
  • Ensure that operations within span of control are carried out within established budget.
  • Responsible for creating department schedule to cover operating hours.
  • Responsible for managing small to moderate projects within the Patient Education team including the project schedule, scope, costs, and resources. May also participate periodically in cross-functional projects.
  • Execute on cross-functional initiatives such as new product launches, customer Digital Health Apps, digital campaigns, product evaluations, and other similar initiatives.
  • Execute on senior management's strategic direction. Provide periodic status updates on progress of team to specific goals and initiatives.
  • Coordinate & support Sales Leadership and field sales personnel to meet directly with customers, sell Patient Education programs, and meet sales quotas where applicable.

What we're looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience
  • Minimum of two years direct supervisory experience in Inside Sales or Virtual Sales in a high-volume setting.
  • Ability to interact with various levels of leadership and stakeholders (from sales associates to business leadership) on a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and data management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Training and/or experience in marketing and/or sales.
  • Experience in medical device or HighTech industries.
