Job Summary Pharmacists at St. Joseph Hospital operate in both the clinical and central pharmacy settings. Pharmacists act as the daily managers in the pharmacy, ensuring all work is done in a concise, timely and accurate manner. Pharmacist are responsible for supervising and verifying all technical work. An emphasis is placed on working collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide services to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes. Pharmacists will ensures the safe and effective use of medication by providing medication order verification while assessing for optimal drug product selection, dosage regiment design, effective administration and drug therapy monitoring services. These tasks will be completed while supporting the mission, vision, and core values of the organization.
