What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Technologist position at Boston Services?
Responsible for the collection and processing of laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory. Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory. Bachelor of Science or Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, or Biology. Registered Medical Technologist with the ability to work in the following specialties : blood bank, chemistry, hematology, serology / immunology, and phlebotomy Cerner experience is preferred. ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification.
Shift : Wednesday- Saturday 6-1600. 10 hour shifts Rotating shifts as needed.
