Shift: 10-hour evening/night shift.
For Traveler: Weekly Gross: $1680.00 - $1880.00 for 40 hours.
For Local: Pay Rate: $36/hr. - $41/hr.
Job Details:
- The Medical Laboratory Technician precisely and accurately performs and results laboratory procedures using established quality assurance protocols.
- The position assists in the collection of laboratory specimens, performs instrument maintenance and record keeping, and acts as a resource person for issues of laboratory services.
- Documented ability to operate standard clinical laboratory instrumentation.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity.
- Detail-oriented.
- Demonstrated organization skills and ability to prioritize work.
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate information logically and systematically, and problem solve.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy, proficiency, and professionalism.
- Excellent customer relation skills; relates well to all kinds of people, builds appropriate reports, builds constructive and effective relationships, uses diplomacy and tact, and can diffuse high-tension situations comfortably.
- EPIC/Beaker computer experience preferred.
- Must have MLT certification, preferably ASCP.
