What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ohio - Medical Lab Tech (Microbiology) - Days - Zanesville position at Boston Services?
The MT / MLT will work 40 hours / week in the Microbiolgy section of our high-volume lab (up to 200 cultures / day). MT / MLT will work five days / week (no four 10;s or three 12's), starting at 6a or 6 : 30a with 2 weekends worked / month (holidays as needed). No on-call. The assignment requires a MT / MLT proficient in Plate Reading / Organism ID and Susceptibility testing for Blood cultures, Respiratory cultures, Wound Cultures, and Urine Cultures. Submissions with primarily Chemistry / Hematology or Blood Bank experience will be closed immediately.
