Rate : $35Days 7a7 : 30p 3x12s 36 hours every other weekend every other holiday.BLS required EMT Certification preferredJob Summary : The Emergency Department (ED) Technician is a healthcare professional who plays a key role in the ED setting. The ED Technician is responsible for providing BLS care to ED patients in collaboration with ED Registered Nurses and Physicians. The ED Technician is also responsible for performing specialized skills including custom orthopedic splinting assisting physicians with orthopedic casting phlebotomy application of dressings preparing patients for suturing. The ED techs also play an important role in bioterrorism & disaster preparedness including preparation for response to a mass influx of patients.
