Travel Rate: $97Local Rate: $89Days with some evenings, no call, no holidays and every 5th weekend. Education Graduate of an accredited college/university with a B.S. in Pharmacy or a Pharm.D. degree is required. Experience A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is highly preferred Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency desirable. Licensure and/or CertificationActive licensed Pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (or eligible for reciprocity) is required Board CertificationJob Summary Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, the Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care through the verification, filling and dispensing of medication orders. Provides clinical services and medication information to medical and nurses ensuring appropriate medication use. Supervises and verifies the accuracy of all work performed by pharma technicians and students. Supports all clinical pharmacy services and initiatives including the pharmacy residency program. Works independently with limited supervision. Develops and promotes collaborative and collegial relationships with medical staff, nurse and other allied health clinical staff
