Please do not submit Medical Surgical / Post Surgical Coverage The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team, responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the Post Surgical unit. They will assess patients on admission and throughout the stay, involving patients and their caregivers in the plan development and updating as necessary throughout stay. The RN will be required to administer IV medications, IV therapy, blood and its components according to clinical standards and policies. BLS certification required Staff must be trained and able to demonstrate competency in the application of restraints, implementation of seclusion, monitoring, assessment, and providing care for a patient in restraint or seclusion. to ensure competency has been validated by the agency employing the staff member Experience: 1 year previous nursing experience preferred
