What are the responsibilities and job description for the VT - Nursing House Supervisor - Nights - Morrisville/Stowe - Copley Hospital position at Boston Services?
The House Supervisor serves as the onsite administrative representative for clinical and managerial functions during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. In collaboration with Department Heads, s/he provides leadership, consultation, and collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment and is the primary back up for front managers in their absence. The House Supervisor plans for, leads, coordinates, and facilitates the provision of quality care and service from a hospital-wide, shift-specific perspective in a manner that fosters accomplishment of the specific Department s goals and objectives. The House Supervisor is responsible for issues related to staffing, patient/family relations, risk management, clinical coordination, patient placement, public affairs and communications, evaluation and mentoring. Ensures appropriate distribution and allocation of supplies/equipment and provides for adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver appropriate clinical services to the patients served.
