We are looking for a passionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team at a local elementary school in Boston. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities, and a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Provide specialized instruction to elementary students with varying disabilities
- Develop and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet student needs
- Implement effective teaching strategies to promote academic and behavioral growth
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and families to support student development
- Conduct assessments to monitor and adjust instructional approaches as needed
*Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Experience working with elementary students with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and practices
- Strong background in literacy education
- Ability to develop and implement effective curricula
- Experience in administering standardized tests
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70-85 per hour
1099 Contract position
Temporary till the end of the year with possibility to renew
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
