- Two or more years of experience as a Staff Physical Therapist is desired
- Demonstrate adequate experience mentoring new clinical staff
- Demonstrate adequate experience in supporting Staff Physical Therapist Assistant and Exercise Specialist training
- Demonstrate proficiency in managing patient scheduling
- Experience as a clinical instructor for at least two clinical affiliating students
- Extensive advanced clinical education completed for career development
- Develop advanced knowledge, focus, community relations, or specialization
Responsibilities
- All of the patient care responsibilities of a staff PT
- Act as a mentor to newly hired clinical staff
- Participate in all staff meetings including taking an active role in planning and presenting
- Play a role in determining and addressing the community needs for services
- Develop and complete training of support staff
- Meet with the practice manager on a monthly basis
- Establish and maintain a list of community partners who refer to BSM
- Suggesting new clinic equipment needs with an evidence-based usage case
