About Tanglewood
In 1940, the Berkshire Music Center (now the Tanglewood Music Center) began its operations. Home to the famous Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the site of one of the world’s best-known music festivals, Tanglewood hosts the Festival of Contemporary Music, along with many other events including concerts of various genres from jazz to pop. Today, Tanglewood annually draws over 350,000 visitors. Each season offers not only a vast quantity of music, but also a vast range of musical forms and styles, all of it presented with a regard for artistic excellence that makes the festival unique.
Job Responsibilities
- Track restroom supplies, re-stock to various buildings as needed
- Interface with cleaning crews to provide spaces with adequate stock and ensure quality of work
- Check trash inside buildings and offices daily, light cleaning when required includes sweeping, mopping, dusting
- Report all maintenance problems or situations to Tanglewood Facilities
- Maintain hand sanitizer dispensers
- Maintain high standards of presentation for all buildings
- Any other duties as requested by Tanglewood Facilities Management
Required Education and Experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Driver's license required
- Ability to work inside and outside, in all weather conditions (heat, rain etc.)
- Able to lift large boxes of paper products, items up to 50 lbs.
- Regular hours are 9am-5pm, up to 5 days a week- weekends included. Some evening hours may be required.
