2. CMDB Cleanup and Governance

Creating a formalized process in building out and maintaining the CMDB.

Contracting with a qualified expert to establish, build out, and maintain a healthy Configuration Management Database (CMDB) based on the findings and recommendations of the previously provided assessment.

This includes continuous optimization and alignment with industry best practices to ensure data accuracy and integrity as well as recommendations and consultation on roles needed to be successful.

A qualified expert should also provide recommendations and consultation on data elements needed to be collected for a robust CMDB.

Develop and implement a comprehensive process for CMDB management. This will include establishing best practices, training, and ongoing support to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement.

3.Governance model Expansion

Establishing a strong foundation for CMDB through a comprehensive data cleanup effort.

Aligning the CMDB with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) principles to support better data quality and governance.

Developing a CMDB data strategy that includes a common data dictionary to standardize terminology and improve data consistency across the platform.

This initiative will support IT Service Management (ITSM) teams by improving data accuracy, enabling more efficient incident and change management processes, and reducing operational risks.

4.Support for continued ServiceNow Strategic Enhancements (SSE) ·

To alleviate the current workload on our internal development team, the contractor will assist in addressing high-level incidents, single sign-on (SSO) implementation, and provide expert advice on integrations.

The project will also involve working on customized ServiceNow applications that fall outside the capabilities of our current team. A Master Certified Architect will be engaged to provide advanced platform

expertise, resolve complex issues, and investigate areas requiring specialized knowledge.

Alignment with Best Practices and Out-of-the-Box Standards: ·

Recommendations will be made to ensure EOTSS’ ServiceNow environment aligns with best practices and out-of-the-box ServiceNow functionality to improve scalability, maintainability, and long-term performance.
