Responsibilities
- Post jobs, source candidates, conduct interviews, and onboard new hires.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to meet the company's staffing needs.
- Collaborating with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive work environment by organizing team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives.
- Drive the creation and execution of a talent management strategy that aligns with company objectives and enhances employee performance.
- Implement and manage employee development programs, including training initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and career progression plans.
- Support leadership in performance management, providing guidance on performance reviews, goal-setting, and employee feedback.
- Assist managers in setting performance goals and providing constructive feedback.
- Conduct regular reviews of compensation packages to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading HR in a fast paced, highly engaged environment while working across HR disciplines including recruiting, compensation, benefits, compliance, culture, and employee relations.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources or a related field strongly preferred.
- Experience with start-ups, preferably in the sporting or other related industry.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to coach and partner with all levels of employees.
