Boston University Information Services & Technology (IS&T) is seeking applicants with diverse skills and experiences to join our innovative and inclusive community. You will join as Data Integration Analyst II where you will be responsible for data analysis, data profiling, data pipeline development. You will also contribute to the operational support and maintenance of applications. As part of the SIS Data & Tools, you will report to the Assistant Director of SIS Conversion & Integration and work with the Student Information System team.This position is hybrid.You Will : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and recommend technology solutions that meet business needs.Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from several sources to generate insights and support decision-making within the organization. Participate in data profiling and data pipeline development of SIS and data warehouse applications.Provide technical support for applications, including troubleshooting issues, resolving user queries, and coordinating with vendors for system enhancements and upgrades.Create documentation related to processes and maintain documentation ensuring accuracy and completeness.Required SkillsYou Will Have : Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related fields, or equivalent work experienceMinimum 3 years of experience with relational database preferably Oracle, and scripting with SQL and PL / SQLHands-on experience building Extraction, Transformation and Load(ETL) pipelines using tools such as Informatica PowerCenterWorking knowledge of building and supporting data warehouseComfortable working with cross-functional, matrixed teamKnowledge of software development methodologiesExperience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partnersBonus Qualifications : If you do not meet these, you are still encouraged to apply; we value employees with a willingness to learn.Experience in student data domainFamiliarity with Oracle People Soft Campus solutionBoston University offers an excellent benefits package including : Time Off : In addition to PTO and leave policy, BU employees have a paid intersession break and 13 paid holidays.Retirement : University-funded retirement plan with full vesting after 2 years of eligible service.Tuition Assistance Program : Competitive tuition assistance program for yourself and family members.Check out and for more information!Boston University IS&T invests in our staff and their personal and professional growth.
